The students get ample opportunity to participate in a wide range of co-curricular and extra - curricular activities organized by IABM and other institutions / organisations. Some of the important activities involving the students are as given hereunder.
Mentor & Mentee Club (MMC)
Life is all about knowledge enrichment and gone are the days when it was considered that “Knowledge is Power”. In this stiff competitive world “Applied Knowledge is Power” and this can be possible only when we have persons who can share their experience and stint with the students. To meet this requirement, MMC is a platform at IABM where all of the seniors share their experience with the juniors. Every senior is assigned one junior on the Roll No. basis, and it is his / her responsibility to guide his/her Mentee. The guidance and support of faculty member is always required for grooming students and for this “Mentor Guru” is approached from time to time for their personality improvement.
Performance Assurance Group (PAG) is one way to bring students a step closer to their teachers. The main aim of PAG is to concentrate on the performance. It is a platform where student representatives for each subject are an important key to get the best from both the students and teachers. Student Representatives have to keep the objectives of PAG in their mind and at the same time other students will have to be co-operative to their teacher’s expectation and for smooth functioning of PAG.
Objectives of PAG:
>> Maintain the dignity of Teacher-Student relationship.
>> Submission of class assignment on time
>> Batch performance as a whole should be on top priority
>> Every teacher has expectations from their students and that has to be fulfilled
>> Student Representatives are totally responsible for proper communication between the concerned teacher of the subject and the students.
Communion – Communion provides a platform to the students to groom themselves through participation in group discussion, extempore speeches, role plays, debate, etc.
Abhivyakti – Abhivyakti is the annual programme organized by the institute during December / January and includes Management Week comprising a number of activities where students from other management institutes also participate followed by the Annual Day Celebration. |
